Welcome to AllMetalShaping Rusty. One of the things I wish I had considered was rebodying a TR6 instead of building the chassis/engine on my roadster. I'd have been driving it for the past two years instead of it still being in the shop.

- I did not like the replacement sheet metal parts I purchased. I can sum it up is several words - "did not fit". - Kerry, I feel your pain on not being able to drive your TR6. They are fun cars. I hope to have mine running by the end of this summer. As for the body work I figure I will take it a body part at a time. I like the work I have seen from these gentlemen - they are an inspiration for me. http://www.ndmetal.co.uk/default.asp thanks Rusty

Ha, I just moved my '71 TR-6 (again) last weekend. It is in much worse shape than when I moved it the last time. Sitting doesn't do a vehicle good...

Storage does not do well for Triumphs. I am building a shop so I can work on my cars and control humidity and dust in it. The humidity is bad right now in the Atlanta area. I only have one good tire on mine. Rest have dry rotted due to the sun, heat and age. I have a spare tire from Coker and can put on but not a spare wire wheel. So I guess my next purchase is a wire wheel and more tires.
