Default Newbie from Johns Creek Georgia

Hi - I am from north Georgia and currently live in Johns Creek area of Atlanta. I took Kent White's (the tin man) intensive course in metal shaping back in 2002. I am after many misfires starting back doing metal work again. I have two projects I am working on. I have a 1962 Jaguar Mark II sedan and a Triumph TR4a. They have some rust but good engines in them. I was thinking of rebuilding the Triumph with 3003 Aluminum body parts as I have not liked the Moss Motors replacement parts fit.
I also have taken EAA course on metal working. I have a MIG welder and I have gas torches for Aluminum welding. I saw this website in one of my web searches for making a buck to form parts on. Looks like you'll have a pretty good group of people here.
I love cars and would like some time in the future to build a custom body and frame and put a 21st century engine in it. I like some of the 1950's and 1960's classic designs from Italy and England. A type C Jag comes to mind as does a XK 150 fixed head coupe. Of course I like some of the old Ferrari 166 designs from Touring also.
