My current metal work (hobby) is with the thicker stuff. Mostly for the jeep, CJ7, such as bumpers, brackets, motor mounts. Now my son has a jeep and is coming up with lots of ideas that involve body work. I'm all for it, we can both learn. Plus I get to buy more tools. His jeep is a 95 grand Cherokee, we removed the rear bumper facade, built a bumper, now we have to fill in the rest with curves.
The bumper ends at the inside of the tail light. We will come up with something that curves around the bottom of the tail light to the wheel well. Brian ![]()
