Default New guy from Boston!

Hello everyone! My name is Taki and im 29! I went to a technical high school and took metal fabrication and loved it!! I wasn't the best school but when i was in shop i gave it 110% and graduated top in my class. That's not saying much nor do i expect a pat on the back. I never pursued it as a career but have continued to fabricate since i graduated. Im a pretty enthusiastic gear head and currently work a shop that focuses mostly on custom high end work. I do all the metal work albeit it's mostly simpler stuff. Im always looking/wanting to learn as much as i can and stumbled on to this site.

Main thing i would to learn/improve on is sheet metal work. I haven't had much or any opportunities to work hammer some sheet metal and play with a planishing hammer and english wheel. Also using a shrinker and stretcher. One thing we do at work is custom body kits, mostly being out of fiberglass but i want to start making them out of metal including fender flares and rocker panels so hopefully I can gather together some info on this forum to guide me in the right direction.

Thanks for listening to my rant and any criticism good or bad is always welcome!
