Gidday

My name is Dean i am interested in all metal shaping as i have finally built an english wheel
i cant wait to have a go on it ,i have a few plans to put it to good use.
I would like to build a half scale Nascar for my two boys but they are growing up faster than i could imagine ,so i guess i better get cracking.
I work in the movies doing special effects and vehicles so i have a very interesting job,and have been working on Mad Max 4 (Fury Road)
I look foward to gaining some skills on the wheel

cheers Dean Franklin

Hey Dean,
Welcome, I like the idea of the half scale nascar and I have to say I'm a massive mad max fan!! I'm jealous.

Hi Dean

Welcome! I do the same type of work as you, specialising mostly in mechanical rigs. I have done cameo effects for a couple of European and local movies, but my bread and butter is in TV commercials.

This friendly forum is brilliant for learning how to shape metal.
