Default Thanks from Atlanta

Hi and thanks to all, my name is Mike from Atlanta, GA “originally from Pittsburgh PA”. I’ve been a long time lurker and learner. Sorry I haven’t posted any pics but 99% of my metal shaping is accomplished at work, and you know how some business can be about pictures!!! We have large power brakes, 12’ and 6’ shears, four Eckold machines, a hydro press and 2 drop hammers.
I would like to eventually build the car that is my avatar, (I hope it’s up there). At the moment I’m restoring a 1978 formula that was purchased by my mom and dad as they were going thru their mid life crisis, I was thirteen at the time. I’m close to paint, a few more horrible weeks of block sanding. After finishing the formula the gears will be switched to making a thumbnail shrinker and maybe a planishing hammer. (I’ve been scrounging and saving pieces, I think I have everything except the time)
I had taken a two day class from Kent White in Atlanta and had taken Lazze’s step one and step two class in Oakdale CA.
Thanks to all for sharing your knowledge and expertise, I have learned so much. Mike
