Default Hi from middle England!

Hi

My name is David. I was pointed in the direction of this forum by Mario (Timetolook ).

I've been working here www.metalcraftLtd.com for about 4 years. It simply is THE best job I've ever had! I build bodies for mainly European vintage and classic cars. Most of the vehicles are race cars and, well, lovely!

I'd like to join this forum to help broaden my knowledge on metal shaping and, if I'm honest, I love being nosy on other people's projects!

I have always got some project or three on the go ( I'm sure I'm not alone on that one!) and often lie awake at night working it all out in my head lol

I am also guilty of building the odd (some very odd) bicycle.

My current projects are a polished aluminium 1950's style rocket inspired bicycle sidecar, a 1966 vw bug converted to run a turbo diesel engine (with many hand made aluminium panels) and another "vw special"

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the builds on here and sharing some of mine

Cheers!
