Default Introduction

Hello to all!

My name is Bob Gibson and I have a 1931 Model A project car. I've had this Model A since 1973. Because of life and not having the time or money, things kept getting in my way, and the A has not been finished. So I'm finally at the point where it is my top priority. I have however managed to keep the car in the garage and out of the elements during this time. At present I have most of the running gear worked out. The body is all metal and in great shape for her age. Only a little rust up by the cowl. Until now I have done all the frame and engine assembly work myself. And I am thinking of making the roof out of sheet metal and replacing the roof ribs with square tubing. And also adding some tubing on the inside of the body and doors for strength. I'd like to do all the body work myself, so here I am. I hope to pick up a few tip and tricks to make the process go a little smoother, because I have no experience or knowledge in this area at all. But in truth, that has never stopped me before. When it comes to metal, I don't even know, what I don't know. Well, I guess I could say the same thing about women. I hope to do better with metal than the latter. On that note I'II say soul long.

Have a Great One
Bob
