Default G'day all - Id like to introduce myself

Hi I'm Paul, I 'm 45 and leave in Perth WA. I used to be a panel beater (10 years experience doing smash repairs mostly) about 15 years ago. I'm here to learn more about (real) metal work, like creating and forming automotive panels with an English Wheel... for my '37 street rod project.

I have been doing a bit of research and I am learning what I was doing wrong for all those years! I am fascinated about what is possible with sheet metal. I consider that I have some skill repairing panels and making rust plates but I consider myself a complete beginner when it comes to more complicated metal shaping and I look forward to learning from you all.

Two pieces of kit I want for my shed is an English wheel and a bead roller!

Cheers Paul

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.
