Default Hi from Germany

Hi,

I´m just to finish my University. I´m studying Composites, so another World than metalshaping.

I recently started to learn some stuff about metalshaping, as my family is into cars and finding a good metalshaper to work as You want is hard to find. So I started to do stuff myself. So far I done some complex shaped Headlight Rims. This was the first time I ever shaped metal. Wasn´t that easy and i spend about 300 hours building them, but my learning progress was massive on this project. After that, i fabricated one missing belly panel under the radiator. on this, i went to a guy with a shrinker and an English Wheel. Both not quite my machines! Was hard to learn and work with.

After that, i bought some tools like a WIG Welder, sandbags, hammers, pliers, shears and so on. I plan just to do some rust repair and small fabrication myself, as i like to learn.

I will try to update pictures later, as I havent figured out how to do it yet.
