Default Hello from Illinois

You have to love the Internet, I'm glad I found this site..

My name is Carl and I live in a relatively small town south of Chicago.

I have decide to tackle two projects this year. Doing all the body work on my wife's toy, a 1995 wrangler, and also the the body work on my sons 2000 S-10 ZR2. I was watching a video of Gene Winfield at SEMA pounding out some sheet metal which led to me looking for pictures of the pipe anvil he drew on a dry erase board which led me to this awesome place. Again, you have to love the Internet.

I have decided instead of buying the body panels needed to patch both my projects I am going to try to fab them my self. Luckily neither need extensive work. I am hoping to pick up some tricks and what tools I should be buying. (Addicted to tools)

I am also introducing all this to my 17 year old son who is still looking for some direction in his life. Who knows, maybe this could be the spark that starts a path to a career for him.

Carl
