Default Just a quick hello to introduce myself to the forum

Hi Guys,

As the title suggests i am new to AllMetalShaping.
I live in the North-East of England, and having just left the Royal Navy after completing 15yrs service i now own and run a small family business here in the UK named 'North-East Airstream & Vintage'.
Specilising in nut and bolt restorations and custom modification of vintage cars and your very own Airstream travel trailers.
I have been running coming up for a year now and the main reason i have an interest in these forums is that i am trying to get away from the 'simply replace or patch' mentality we seem to have over here especially when it comes to vintage sheeted alluminium vehicles therefore, i am very slowly building up the workshops engineering equipment with the emphasis on remove, restore and replace the original part.
I have been involved in metal fabrication in some shape or form for about 25yrs (mainly welding in its various forms) and now i have the time it would be great to into the more specialist aspects.
Thanks and hopefully speak soon.

Kind regards
Stevie
