Post Hi to all you tallented metalshapers!!!!!!!!

My name is Chris " Kit " is the Yorkshire name for Chris.
I have been a welder for 30yrs Shipyards, powerstations, on and offshore pipelines.
I first got interested in classic cars aged 5yrs when I went for a ride with my friend and his dad in a series 1 E-Type Jaguar from then on the rest is history.
I worked for a friend in the early 90s building vintage car bodies and learn t a lot from an old guy who had been wheeling for over 50yrs ,his panels seemed to just melt into shape " Cliff G . RIP "
I went off to sea on pipelines and work kept me away from what I always wanted to do. I did manage to find and buy a 42" cast English wheel for the some of £50. The guy said it was seized and the lower anvil shaft wouldn't go up or down so I bought it for scrap . It had an inch of bar lodged in a keyway ,in ten mins from getting it home I had it working sweet.
I am semi retired now and want to get back into making panels again so for all the advice and knowledge out there I am truly thankful too you all.
