Hello from the frigid north! (Minnesota) My name is Bryan, but everyone calls me Bruno. I stumbled upon this forum while looking for projects to weld up for more metalworking tools
![]() I started cleaning motorcycle carburetors when I was 14, since then, I have gotten more and more into the hobby and rebuild vintage bikes, customize some of them, and help others by cleaning their carburetors on the side. I bought a planishing hammer awhile back when I was younger, didn't do too much with it, as I was young and got frustrated with how much time it took to do metal shaping, and with the poor results I was achieving. I had bought a few auto body repair books and welding books at the time too. Now, a few years older, and my first kid being 1 years old, I think I want to get back into shaping metal for various projects I have now that I have a bit more patience. The most current being a custom fairing for a Triumph Tiger I just bought, hard to find a nose fairing so I'll just make my own! Can't wait to learn more as I go along. |
