Thanks for letting me join. I have been abusing metal for most of my life. I was a shipfitter in the Navy and later became an illustrator. I work at a couple of manufacturing companies, at the first as a welder and a fab worker and then at the second a technical illustrator where I drew all the assembly drawings for the owners manuals. Later I was an illustrator for the federal government. Now am building a '51 dodge pu. Building all the repair panels and custom item.

			Hi Floyd,

Welcome. Have you ever read or heard of the book by John Jerome, "Truck" ?? In it he describes his long process of restoring a '50 Dodge Pickup in his barn, up in NH. I sure sympathized with him, and greatly enjoyed the book. Do you still do the occasional illustration?
