Hello metal shapers. I'm Ken
Working on repairing sheet metal sections (rocker panels area and fender panels) on an Alfa Romeo 1974 GTV 4. I started on rocker panel sections and decided to take the car to bare metal and to fix rust issues. Found a few things. I have repaired and welded in place the new sections. I got interested on how to form sheet metal shapes after going to a car show and seeing a kid metal toy car hand shaped/formed and reached this page after searching for how to design and build buck shapes to form sheet metal and fabricate car parts. Any help or guidance is appreciated. I searched the page but I guess I needed to introduce myself before being granted access to some of the pictures. ( I saw some links to ferrari parts but could not access them yet). Hopefully this intro will grant access. Great page! I am near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the USA Last edited by Steve Hamilton; 08-13-2014 at 05:05 PM. |

Welcome, Ken.
The Veloce is a great little car, and yours just might have the last of the wood steering wheels and dash? And that twin cam 2L motor can keep a steady 70-90mph very well, without the upgrades. Keep poking around, and you just might find some good stuff.
