Default New guy from Long Beach, CA!

Hi guys,

From what I have seen already. this place is obviously going to be an invaluable tool.

I'm Chris and I technically live in Lakewood, CA. I find that usually, it's more simple to say I live in Long Beach, CA.

I have a 1947 Plymouth that was purchased with the idea of being a project for my dad, my brothers, and I. That never quite happened as my dad is a very busy guy and I was the only one of my brothers that took an interest in hotrodding.

I'm finally ready to get into getting the car up and running, as well as welding some patch panels, new foot wells, and new quarters. Aside from the shaping, there will be a fair amount of fabrication involved as well.

Nice to meet you guys!

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

I plan on finishing all fab work related to suspension first. Then practice on shaping some scrap for a while before actually getting into the body work. Should keep me busy for a while and that way I won't be doing more harm than good on the body.

I will be sure to post lots of photos.

Hi Chris and welcome.

What do you have in the way of metal shaping tools?
