Default likes playing with metal

Gayle and I (Howard) enjoy drag racing and building motorized bikes
the fun part is testing them out

We are currently getting the car ready for the next season
it's on the rotisserie
moving the wheel tubs and rear springs

Also trying to get the wedge bed car hauler finished
converting it to cummins 5 speed
floors had a little rust issues to take care of
so we married a 92 cummins club cab firewall to the 73 crew cab

we are working out of a section of DC-10 as a shop (28' x 40')

84 tube chassis dodge "Rampage"

was our parts chaser many years, gas tank started leaking (pin holes)
and the uni-body starting splitting, behind the seat/rear window area

So, the last haul it made was to pick up the replacement eng/trans
440/727 vs the 4 cylinder/front wheel drive

next was to put a real frame under it

then build a trans for it
Trans-brake /4500 coverter

test fit the body

Now,
Body is off for interior sheet metal,
electrical, fuel , brake systems

As an A&P I think your workspace is brilliant. That is one luxury I don't have, space. Welcome.
