Newbie here but am not afraid to tackle mechanical projects.
I'm into restoring some vintage tractors I have and sheet metal skills are coming into play. I'll do what I can if I have the tools. Most of the time I farm the sheet metal work out to local garage/back yard shop type businesses here IF they have the capability to do the work. Some of my needs seem to be exceeding the local abilities and it helps too if the person is intrigued/interested in reproducing old parts. So......I'm looking to do it myself or find the right guy to do it once I'm educated with the way it gets done. Pics will follow with my next post on how the heck do you make this part? Roland |
