Default Future coachbuilder

My name is Tim Shockley, and I want to know more about metal fab in general, and eventually would like to build my skills to the point of taking a blank sheet of steel and make a complex curved fender or something similar. I like to work on cars. I am interested in all aspects of building cars, from powertrain, to interior, to paint and body. While I am not scared to use a little body filler, I rather move the metal instead. So that pretty much sums it up; I want to make awesome stuff out of metal.

Welcome aboard, Tim.

This board will go a long way toward helping you realize your shaping goals.

I wish it had existed 40 years ago when I needed to make a new cowl nosebowl for a Piper TriPacer.
