Question Motorizing a manual bead roller

Howdy, I just signed-up and appreciate that there is a group of good people who have strong mechanical skills that I can share thoughts, ideas, and problems with. Thank you, ahead of time for any and all suggestions and comments.

Hi Lazz and welcome !
As far as a motor on a bead roller. I have made a few. The best, that I have found, is a 3 phase gear motor with a 120volt VFD. you get variable speed, forward and reverse. Here is one I built for a friend. The upper shaft moves in and out 1-1/4".

If you will look on the main page, down a ways there is a section on bead rollers and there are several different ways to go, all acording to time and money. There is all kinds of questions to be answered about bead rollers there. Good luck!
