Default Nate in North Idaho

Hello everybody, my name is Nate. New here, but not to metalshaping, I worked as a body hanger/metal shaper in Nascar Winston cup/ Sprint cup/ Busch/Nationwide and Craftsman Truck series from 2001 to 2010. I also have a fair bit of time on street cars and hot rod metalwork, as well as my own metal art.
I pay my bills as a Diesel Mechanic/Mig-Tig welder/fabricator and generator tech, as well as equipment repair of anything from small shop equipment to antique diesel-electric locomotives. One of my current projects is the resurrection of a set of 8 prewar passenger rail cars that will see service again on the California coast.
When I'm not whoring my skills for food and beer I enjoy hunting and fishing with my two boys and enjoying my "retirement" (I'm in my 30's) in beautiful North Idaho.
I joined the site to learn new techniques as well as share info and network with other metalshapers.
