Dutch Citroen DS enthusiast in the U.K. saying "hi"
Hi Guys,
the name I've chosen 'black_pennel' is a rather well known fly used in fly fishing, in case anyone wonders. Outside of tinkering with the panels on my 1960 Citroen DS with my gas and mig kits, I'm mad about fly fishing. Space being at a premium in London, I work in my shed and my good friend and Citroen DS specialist Jamie Piggot lets me store my D chassis at his workshop. I've got a degree in sculpture and really enjoy the sheet metal bending and welding. I'm just keen to get better at the gas welding and being able to fabricate repair sections in a craftsman-like way, including welding without filler rod. I've followed workshops at Contour, have been watching David Gardiner's video (which is truly a revelation) and have learned a lot simply from hanging out with my car buddies. Hans
