Howdy, everyone – Brandon from Michigan here. My projects and repairs almost always involve straight cuts and welds, but I want to start getting into some curves. I want to start by building myself a pneumatic planishing hammer (straight cuts, straight welds… seeing a pattern?) and I was hoping to get some ideas here.
I live on a small farm and spend a lot of my time repairing field implements and creating machines that help get work done faster (chicken plucker, corn sheller, etc). This winter I’ll have a *little* spare time so it’s time for something new!

Thanks for the welcome! We're in Grand Blanc Township, south of Flint. If anyone's interested, my wife keeps a facebook page about our farm so we can share pics and general goings-on. http://www.facebook.com/ThreadCreekFarm It's a centennial farm that's been in the same family since 1831 so there's a ton of history (and junk) around.
