Default new to sheet metal work

hey guys/girls my name is david. I'm joining this forum to get some tips and some input on how and were to start with learning the art of sheet metal shaping. I am a full time fireman with the Houston fire dept but with my schedule I have a side business building custom chassis for hot rods trucks etc mostly air ride. my expertise is limited to clean and simple suspension jobs mostly working with box tubing and quarter inch flat stock but never have tried working sheet metal. example building custom dashes roll pans seats door panels etc. would like to expand my abilities so I can offer more to my customers. hopefully I can get some good advise on what tools to start with. Thanks a lot.
