I was redirected here via a thread on the TriFive Chevy board by a master panel beater (MP&C, I believe) and I'm enthralled by the skill level I've seen here and in that board.
I've been whompin' on steel since 1996 without any training other than "The Key to Bumping Metal" and word of mouth here and there. By the time I retire from the airline five years hence, I plan on being able to hold my own with the accomplished crafts people. If I only make it half way there, I'll still feel like I've done well. Forgive me if I lurk for a while as I'm just going to be soaking up all that you guys are sharing. Good on ya'll. Bruce PS: 1990 (high option) Corvette roadster, 2000 Jeep Wrangler, 2006 Unlimited Jeep Wrangler, 1950 Chev 3/4 T p/u. In process of restoring a 1949 Cessna 140. A&P w/IA since 1980, and what's left of a pilot since 1973. |
