My name is Brian, I grew up in a small rod/restoration shop in Indiana. I jouned the Army @ 18 looking for a better way to make a living (and not get yelled at so much
). I've spent the last 22 years working on computers, copiers, networks. I have always played with cars and have done 2 frame off restos in my 2 car garage. Now that I have more shop space, I want to learn how to make some of the stuff that I have always bought. I need to collect some equipment and learn how to use it.......I'm here to leach knowledge from the experts.

Welcome aboard, Brian!
A word of advice from an admitted tool junkie: Don't get too hung up on the equipment as all it does is make stuff (and scrap) faster. Everything that needs to be done can be done by hand and if you learn the techniques involved first, adding the equipment will make it go that much smoother and easier. Just speaking from experience there.
