Default Hello from Australia

Hi,

I’m from Melbourne Australia.
Currently restoring a CAC Boomerang aircraft and dabbling in old cars. I have made my own English Wheel, and I’m in the process of building a Pullmax style machine.

Welcome to AMS Nick.
I checked out the Boomerang restoration over on FB, that’s quite a project!

Welcome Nick. Please post some pictures of your Pulmax build when you can. Are you using an existing recipe?

The Boomerang restoration is a veeerrry long term project. Maybe I bit off more than I can chew!
At work they were scrapping a number of testing machines and I managed to get permission to take home the remains of them. I’m using parts of these machines to build a reciprocating machine similar to a pullmax I think.
I don’t know a huge amount about these machines, but from what I’ve seen, I was thinking of using an eccentric shaft and conrod.
Links to other builds to get ideas would be appreciated.

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.
