Welcome Ryan,

I have bought stuff from Peter and Hare & Forbes and never had any problems with both.
Admittedly I have bought stuff from Hare & Forbes knowing full well that I am going to modify or beef it up to suit my needs when I get it home.

Welcome to the forum Ryan. I am very impressed with your Cad work.(Is it AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or?). Regardless, it very nicely done.

I too would offer the advice to contact Peter. If you have a chance to meet him, be sure to take a large jar of cucumbers, as it will serve you well in becoming a friend of his. If you are a cook of any kind, his favorite evening meal is a cucumber and possum casserole.

haven't started with the metal shaping on the project yet, still working on the cad modeling.
so many details to go through when reverse engineering the entire chassis. Don't take to much notice of some of the flanges as they have been added into cad in a manner that the program allows. obviously some of them would be continuous and need the edges shrunk to form a continuous curve. I'm just trying to get it all in the one model so that I can produce / reverse engineer the flat patterns for the plans that I don't have. Will get a build diary set up at some point.

back to it.

Ryan

I'm still plodding along.

The cad work is getting close. Still collecting tools and equipment as well. I have been working on a stump and done a some training on the use of an English wheel.

I will get some images to add shortly.
