Default Another new guy

Just to introduce myself.
I am 66 years old and just over the past year I have become interested in metal shaping.

It started with my attempt to restore a 1969 E-type Jaguar.

In my attempt I found that aftermarket repair panels did not fit the car.
I had to tweak them or massage them to some point to get them to fit.

After purchasing a very expensive part (special order) I found that there was no way to make it fit.
At that point I decided to make my own repair panels.

So I am on a quest to learn all I can about metal shaping.

I am a member of the Metalmeet forum.
a great site with great people.
I am sure this site will be the same
