Default Hello from England

Hello,

My name is Kelvin and I live near London, England. I have been making stuff out of metal using a MiG welder for a few years now.... mainly small pieces for the home such as magazine racks, stands for garden pots, small gates, garden sculptures, copper flowers etc.

I also made a gas forge and I am learning to whack hot pieces of metal on my anvil. I am also currently building a 1/3 scale Burrell Traction Engine from a kit. I have built a few cars and motorbikes in the past. I have a lathe and I just ordered a milling machine.

I am hoping to learn a lot from reading these threads and will contribute where I think I can add some value.

Welcome to the forum Kelvin, it’s a great resource and there are some very knowledgeable folk on here.

Your traction engine project sounds interesting!
