Jaroslav, the mechanical lock is just a safety feature. I don’t like suicide doors but I was forced to use them because of the added length.

Ok Jack. I only added an idea for soft door closing and locking. It would solve a hard impact when closing.

Test drive today. I have an air ride leak on right rear. I’ll have to track that down. Driver side window doesn’t “park” when the door closes, and a couple minor bugs. Overall good though. I need to take it in to the shop and get the A/C charged.
