Matt, the pics need to be hosted online somewhere. AMS has an Album section where you can upload pics and then post that link into your thread post. Many here maintain an album or few, whether or not they ever post those pics into an actual discussion thread. The link to the Album section is in the header. You can also use a general hosting service like Photobucket, IMgbb, etc. and paste that link into your thread post.
The only snag is to make sure the pic is scaled or sized per recommended dimensions. If it's a big file, whatever you type will look like dust instead of words...

http://allmetalshaping.com/picture.p...ictureid=20115 I thought that it was not possible to post from my Apple I phone, but I found a way!!!!! It is possible but not worth all the steps required. Here is what I did 1. E mail pics to myself. Select the small or medium size. (Large is way to big for this site) 2. Open the email and save the photos to a new photo album on your phone. I labeled it as small images to make them easy to find. 3. Upload the photo/ photos to your photo album here on Allmetalshaping. 4. Open up a second window of Allmetalshaping And start a new thread or open the thread that you want to post on. Now you can switch back and forth to copy and past the image link 5. When in the photo album window open the photo you want to post, go to the links below that pic and copy the bottom one. Hold your finger on the link to get the blue selection area. Make sure you stretch the box out to include the complete link Labeled BB code. Then touch copy. 6. Now open the other window with the thread / post that you want to add the photo to. Place the cursor where you want the picture, if you are placing it after text please add a couple returns to space the picture down from the text. Now go to the area above the test entry box and click on the yellow square, and a box will open to enter the url of your image. Back space to remove any text from the box Hold your finger on the text entry area and select paste. You will now see the link to your picture so select OK. 7. You can now add text to your post either below or above the photo When it looks the way you wish click on the submit reply button.

This pic was emailed at the Medium size
The pic below was emailed at the large size, which is way too large for our forum! Please do not use the large size as members with limited access to the internet can’t view it [IMG][/IMG]
