Default Need foot valve

I want to add a foot valve to my planishing hammer, not just an on/off valve but one that controls pressure like the pedal on a TIG machine. I don't know what it'd be called or who to get it from, any suggestions?
I'd have a regulator before the foot valve so max pressure is preset and the foot valve controls how hard the hammer hits.
Thanks, Oj

Hi OJ,

I think this might do what you want it to. RS are a UK supplier but the part is manufactured by Parker so it will be available in the US. There is a link to a data sheet on the RS page. Hope that helps.

Hi OJ,
Yes, I have found in my own experience that setting whatever upper limit with press.reg. leaves the footpedal to control the range from zero to the set limit.
This allows us to operate a variety of metal alloys, thicknesses and hardnesses (i.e. thin pewter to 3mm thick aluminum) .... with our variety of 7 air motors.
I'll get you an image of our current foot control. If NLA in UK we can send you one....
Christmas Joys,
Kent

Happy Christmas, OJ.

Have used this model for a long time.

Hi OJ,
Got it.
Heavy snows here now, internet out, roads not working. Will take more days to unstick company energies, and then will get going for your request.
