Raising the bed actually helped it as well.

Thanks Marcus. It went better than I thought it would. Only the floor was raised, but I did lift the side boards 10mm in the rear. I had them sitting level, but when you looked at the beltline in context with the cabs line, it looked wrong. Better flow now. The eyes don't seem to lie.

I like your truck , alot , But what is the blu/green machine between it and the sheetmetal brake ? looks like it might be a sheer ? I only get little glimpses of small sections of it . I think that others would like to see full pictures of your bead roller also . Thanks

Probably good for 22g galvanized sheet for flashings. The bead roller hasn't been used much on this project. More the nibbler with its custom dies for specific jobs. A person just forgets to take photo's when your working.

This is the first two pieces of the mudguard. I made a die for the nibbler to produce a J swage. This swage makes the mudguard sit tight in against the bedside. I did a few test pieces to determine the depth of the J. Initially, I liked a shallow form, but ended up with the J coming to just under half of the bedsides edge radius. Bolt fixing for the guard will also go through this panel.

This is the front section of the mudguard. No action shots.
Made a rough paper pattern, read the sticky on how to produce a guard with hand tools and then started bashing. Used a stump, blocking hammer, tucking forks and ewheel.

This is the rear half. Same tools used . Positioning of the wheel arch took some thought. With the wire buck positioned either on the inside or outside, gave you two different positions.
