Default Japanese metal shaping tutorial.

Good video on making a part all by hand.
With the cursor on the video, go to the icons at the bottom right, click on the far left one and turn on subtitles. Then click on the settings icon next to it and select Japanese to English to give some information as it goes on.
Pretty funny translations sometimes and it even tries to translate the sound made by the hammer!

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.

Very nice. I would be crazy from about that purity. I have to get used to standing up after every act work.

Here's the foundation of the craft. The basis, the foundation, the essence of everything. Then you can develop further.

It just hurts my eyes to watch him cut out those blanks . Thank goodness we have snips and even Uni-Shears available. ~ John Buchtenkirch
