Default Newbe Leigh

Hello All,

I'm Leigh from Port Huron, Michigan (right on the Ontario, Canada border and hour north of Detroit).

I'm fascinated (nearly obsessed) with classic cars. I'm in the process of restoring/restomodding a 1970 Corvette Coupe (yes, I am aware it isn't metal) and I've been entertaining my next project. I came across a thread about a gentleman making a BMW 507 replica by hand and would love to learn more about this process and how I might acquire a 507 body, either in aluminum or in fiberglass. I'm certain I lack the time or skill set necessary to make one as he appears to be doing, but that BMW 507 is my absolute dream.

Thanks for the time to read the introduction and happy hammering to all.
