Bert Introduction
My name is Bert Sandlin I have built some pretty impressive Aluminum Amphibious Vehicles. BUT I need help making my stuff look good. I have worked with structural shapes, flat plate, and crimped plate and rolled plate. I stayed south of New Orleans and rode Hurricane Katrina out and did many hurricane/flood recovery projects after the hurricane. I saw a real need for Government agencies, Utility Companies and/or anybody to have fast amphibious vehicles available for flood rescue and recovery help. It is sad that better emergency flood rescue vehicles are not available. Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQO6Fe8gwWw&t=5s For me it is not so much about building recreational amphibious vehicles as building any amphibious vehicles that could possibly get used for future flood service.

Welcome to the forum, Bert.
Sounds like you've got a worthy goal in mind. I spent time cooking in NOLA in 94. It only took a few fast rising water/rain events for the farmer in me to realize that wasn't where I wanted to live long term.

That’s pretty interesting
Find a need, create a solution. Good work.
