Mark, size is about 60 x 80 x 2.5 mm. The pipe collapses in all directions. It was some transport cart from which I cut a part. It was at a time when I didn't have any EW.
It was a large frame, but springed unusably. That's why I couldn't shape the way I needed it !!!! I recently needed a large frame for large panels. I tightened the wheels with a strap and welded the braces. Now this EW is also applicable. But no miracle happens.
My cast iron EWs from the band saw are great and it's a pleasure to shape with it. Yes, it took a bit of work, but that work has good results.
That means I have a comparison of EW made of steel and cast iron. EW could easily be made of concrete. With hard EW, you can work with a little pressure and you can see beautifully how you shape.
Wheel flexibility is, in my view, a detrimental phenomenon.

Jaroslav yes your frame is made of small thin material. The cheap english wheels that a lot of beginners here start with a Harbor Freight wheel. They have lots of flex in every direction possible. They are made of bigger and thicker material than what yours are made of. Your must have been really flexible . A lot of them are out there . They are not idea but get a lot of guys by.
