Default Fixing my Opel GT

Hi, I am currently building a Opel GT I have owned for years.
The reason it's finally happening is I am retired now and want to drive it before I fall off the perch.
It tunes out it maybe should have gone to the crusher in 1990 when I got it but I love this car and it will happen.
I have done a online paint and panel course which was good.
I have filled the sunroof with a patch cut from a Fiat and am reconstructing the nose of of the car piece by piece which has now evolved to making metal flares to replace the fiberglass flares.
To do the flares I have spent money and bought my first metal forming tool beyond to basic and although very happy I know I need help to learn.

As the senior guys used to tell me,

"A little bondo and some paint
Makes 'em look
like what they ain't."

Keep a'goin' ...
yer doin' fine.

My first go at using a English wheel.
Followed first time bead rolling and shrinker/stretcher.

Good job. But I would perhaps start from a different side. It will probably take more than just fender edge.
But those are great.

All ok, I was just commenting on the overall situation. You still have a lot of work to do on the rest of the car before it's up and running. I have a similar one and I should also fix it "before I fall off the perch", but it is quite possible that it will never happen.
I meant your start of the fix - nice design, but the rest will be fun. You will really enjoy everything here. Good luck.

There wouldn't be many Opel GT's here in Australia.

I've never seen one outside Europe or the US.
