Posting pictures with i-pad or i-phone
Hi Members
The forum software is old and does not automatically resize the photos. we have considered different software but due to cost and the fact it would require everyone learning a totally new program, have decided this will work for us. in the past apple phones and i-pads have been problematic, and would not allow the photos to be loaded, due to large size Dan Smith (galooph) our computer guru made a couple changes to our software. That along with some of the recent updates from Apple to the portable devices, we can now post photos directly to the posts Here is what seems to work! and not work! 1. the photos need to be taken as a landscape not a portrait. the home button needs to be on the left or right NOT on top or bottom. 2. My older I pad will only allow 2 photos at a time to be uploaded. there is no option with this device to select photo size. 3. my i-phone 8 plus will work to upload up to 10 photos (maybe more i didn't try). there are 3 options for picture size medium works the best for this site. Here is a step by step to get your photos in your post. 1. Go to and click on a new thread or the post reply button. 2. fill in the title box. 3. Click on the paperclip 04F75C49-C06C-4D4C-A138-244274CFA5F9.jpeg 4. Click on choose file CF7141D7-1191-40DF-8358-FD65CE028210.jpg 5. Take picture note home button is on right. Or select library and then click on the photo of choice 44FDB899-3E5D-477A-A04C-A9907049202A.jpeg 6. Click on the actual size button to reveal other size options. 5A7FA670-3951-4B76-88DB-C0B63E1D5FE1.jpeg 7. Click on medium as it works best on our site. Next click the choose button on lower right. 9A40EF9B-EEC3-4D8B-8986-6A3F827371EF.jpeg 8. Repeat steps 4 thru 7 for each picture you wish to upload. 9. At this point you need to switch back to the thread window. 10. move the cursor to where you want the photos, usually 2 returns (enter) after your text makes it easier to read. 11. from the drop down you can select any one individual photo or click " "select all" 0729C321-A7E3-4531-9F75-D40D11F7A128.jpeg It seems to work the best for me if I select all and then go back and enter the text. use the preview changes to see what it looks like. If it looks good click save the changes, if not scroll down to the edit area and fix it then select save changes If you have problems or suggestions please let us know.

Many thanks to Dan Smith and Steve for continuing to tilt as this particular windmill. It has long been a thorn and, since I'm not an Apple guy, I've been unable to address it.
Steve, this deserves a dedicated post rather than being buried inside another misc post so I moved it.
