Default Help from iPad or iPhone users

How do you guys stop the dreaded rotation of photos when you post from an iPhone or IPad? It’s got to do with how an iPad stores a photo. It rotates randomly when you resize as an attachment. Problem is it always displays correct on my iPad so you cannot see which way it’s rotated until you post it on the forum. I used to have the same issue on four other forums, but they have all since sorted the issue out. Comments like hold the phone in a different orientation when you take a photo isn’t a solution

So, how do you guys do it?

I have the same issue on other forums and solved it by taking all my pictures with the home button on the right, Iphone in horizontal position. This solves my issue but if I take a picture in a different orientation it rotates the picture when posted.

If you open the image and save it again in the correct position, the problem will disappear. I hope it's the same with the Iphone.

Nope, doesn’t work with iPhone…….the volume buttons need to be down and the home button to the right.
There’s photo editing software that supposed to work, have no idea what one or cost?

Hi Johnny,

I've been testing a fix on our testforum, which seems to sort the image rotation issue. I've moved the fix onto here, so if you could test uploading some images, that'd be great.

Thanks,

Dan

I put pictures through the computer. I'll save them to a folder first. I edit and then present them. That's not the problem. With unedited images can be.
Another problem occurs if you lose your mobile .....
