Default Hi from germany

My name is Axel, and I am from Hamburg/Germany

I am fascinated by the things and shapes you can do with metal and some simple tools, although I have never tried it very often.
I was working as an automotive designer at three big car manufacturers, and we worked with clay, foam and fiberglass, but the older I get, the more I fall in love with the classic round car design from the 50ies and 60ies and their metal bodies...
At the beginning I will be just lurking around here to see what you guys are doing, but you never know.... may be one day I will invest in such tools for shaping alloy and sheet metal, and built my own dreamcar...
My appreciation to you guys, you do amazing work!

Regards
Axel

Hi Axel.

I always loved Oldtimer Praxis. Excellent magazine, and fun reading. Sounds like you already have the bug (Baulust) to build something, not much is required to get started!

i am actually building something, I call it a hybrid version, half metal, half fiberglass.
The car is a Dino 206P...the target is to be able to do a full metal body one day!

Hi Axel, Welcome to the forum.

Nice car. I'm sure you can challange yourself --I mean learn a lot finishing the Metal body for that Dino.
