Default Please allow me to introduce myself...

No, I'm not a devil, it just seemed like a funny line for an intro.

I'm retired. I worked as an engineer for most of my life, but before that I worked as a mechanic, and in the US Navy served as a Machinist's Mate- "Hole Snipe" type. A couple years of teaching high school math and physics got squeezed in back in the mid-90s after peace broke out and I lost my defense job. Designed and built aircraft and spacecraft antennas, but ended it all up with a position as a Mechanical Engineer for the last 14 years of it. Designed a lot of stuff, wrote a lot of work instructions. I've been tormenting metal since I was little. As soon as my membership gets processed, I'll post a few projects that I've made over the years.

Welcome to the forum, ~Steven.

I like the squiggle thing on your name. don't meet many people smooth enough to pull that off... Very cool.

Thanks! It's just that thing to the left of the number "1" on the top row of the keyboard, using the shift key! I hope that I can remain
