Many thanks for all the compliments guys! I really appreciate the positive feedback.
Now to get to a bit more of the smaller updates….. Here I was starting to work on the passenger door. I had removed the skin from the shell, modified the rear to fit the aftermarket bear claw style door latch (no pictures) The original door stops had literally been ripped out of both side, so I decided to put a modern style in. Once the shell was hinged and roughly latching, I wanted to get started on fabricating the window channels and vent glass frame. (Remember I’m using curved glass, so the channels and vent frame had to be built to fit the contour of the glass both veto and horizontal)

These were out of a 2018 Jeep Cherokee rear door. I believe the Ram pickups and other models use the exact door check as well.

This update focuses on cutting some of the curved glass (just for fitting and building purposes) I’ve already cracked, welding spatter, etc. by it….it’s only purpose was to be a better fit than the plywood was. In the end, I’ll make a final set that I’m careful with.
Also, after figuring out where the inner door handle, power window, access for vent glass adjustments, door latch / ext. handle access, etc. it was time to fabricate a clean inner door shell panel that had the openings as I needed / wanted, vs. settling and dealing with the factory one that would have ended up butchered up and not as pleasant in the end. I also didn’t like the connection points on the aftermarket inner door handle levers, so I created a little beefier one, that is easier to assemble with a cable end (slips and slots into position on the handle and latch ends, as opposed to the cable loop and cable swedge they suggested)

What was the curved donor glass originally from? (thanks for the update -- looks great!)
