Anyone forum member ever source internal parts for a Marchant Model 1A (air powered semi portable shrinker/stretcher)? Looking for new leather cup seal for the air cylinder piston, various o-rings, internal springs, etc.
I would like to use genuine Marchant service parts, but efforts to contact Marchant, Beltsville, MD (emailed twice & called once) has resulted in no response whatsoever. Thanks! JG |

Here is the contact information I've used. Be sure to give Richard your serial number to get the correct parts. Hope this helps, Bob

Good news - tried calling Marchant again yesterday & was able to contact Richard. He was very helpful and took my order for genuine 1A replacement parts.

Kent - thanks for thinking of helping.
Yes, Kudos to Richard at Marchant for saving the day with new 1A parts. I was getting desperate as deteriorating cup seals, o-rings, etc caused the 1A's to lose their "oomph" when working 1/8" thick CRS for a time sensitive project. |
