Bill from NC
Nice to meet you all. I'm Bill, or Billy if you prefer. I've been a self taught craftsman for over two decades. I started with general home repair and moved into fine woodworking...or not so fine woodworking depending on the project.
I've worked as a roofer, builder, welder, prototyper, you name it. I decided to shift gears a few years ago, and now I'm an English professor. Crafting things is purely a hobby for me. Recently, I picked up smithing with my sons. We live in NC, so the weather is just right for doing it year-round. I know very little about the craft, but I'm willing to learn. That's why I'm here. Thanks.
