Default Greetings from Gavin Eakins

G'Day Metal shapers,

I've joined your forum after a fellow car nut friend pointed out something interesting on it.

Why will I be banging on pieces of sheet?
I have a couple of cars that need some restoration attention:
* '74 Celica that has all the delights of ~50 year old steel: Pic here
(a sentimental purchase, was my first car at 18yo)
* '89 Ford Falcon XF ute that's in pretty good shape, but could do with a bit of rust repair + straightening here and there: Pic here

My main interests are motorcycles (VFR750, Goldwing, R80G/S, DRZ400) + a Lotus seven replica I built from scratch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ng-yaBQD5s

Cheers - Gavin

Welcome, Gavin.
(used to know a motorcycle collector "Eakins" - had the nickname "Leakin' Eakins.")
