I am working on some minor exterior patching right now, but will start some practice fabrication of those channels and post how that goes. I expect the first 20+ attempts will be pretty sad. Grin.

Made a test section from easy to work with aluminum sheet and I think I may have an approach. The actual main channel on the car is a bit simpler that I thought although there will be some compound curves where it meets the firewall. Going to try to make a larger section like this out of 18 gauge this weekend.
