Default Hammerforming a fuel door tray.

Hi, guys. My name is Cameron and I live in Idaho. This is my first real post here, so I thought I'd keep it fairly short and full of pictures.

Follow along the build of a simple, yet hopefully entertaining, 1965 El Camino fuel door tray.

The first step, of course, was to make a paper pattern as well as a flexible pattern:

I decided that this particular part was a good candidate for hammer forming the principal of the part. So the paper pattern was tacked to some 3/4" MDF and a form was made:

Hey Cameron, nice work! It's always nice seeing your work!

For some reason I thought you already knew of this site?! Otherwise I would have said something...
